Our goals on the council will certainly change as situations arise but the current two priorities are to insure that Worm Hole space is not "rebalanced" in order to make more people go to null sec and reduce the number of high sec NEW miner gankings (When uninformed new members rage quit we all lose.). The removal of insurance pay outs for high sec killings was long over due and many of us who discussed this issue with other players and contacted CCP about it were certainly please when this "moral hazard" (To use an insurance industry term.) was taken care of.
Thank you for your support.
Why should wormhole residents vote for you instead of me? Do you really think there are enough wormhole votes to split those votes and still be able to elect a single representative to the CSM? Vote Two step for CSM 7 CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog |

That's possibly the whiniest, weakest, most pathetic political reply I have ever seen. You are AHARM for goodness sake not "If you play in my playground I'm going to sit here and sulk" Goons. Pathetic but now for the OP ...........
I'm sorry you see my reply that way. I think it is a totally reasonable question to ask anyone who is competing for what is a small fraction of EVE's population. Given that last year I was the only wormhole candidate running and I was just barely elected to an alternate seat (100 votes fewer would have lost me the election), asking someone to directly compare themselves to me seems reasonable.
Bei ArtJay wrote: You imply then that anyone who plays this game as a w-space 'resident' should vote tactically for you regardless of your opinions.
When voting becomes tactical it becomes corrupt and pointless in my opinion. I would like to vote for you since you seem like you are a decent candidate and have done a good job so far, and agree with most of your opinions. However I am severely adverse to doing anything because I'm told there is no alternative. Putting my vote on hold for now so +1 like for black berry to see what he can present.
Also, this categorisation of 'nullsec dewller' 'highsec dweler' and 'w-space dweller' is horrible. There are many many of us that consider ourselves all three, and by splitting the vote you turn them off.
That isn't what I said at all. W-space residents should tactically vote for the w-space candidate that is most likely to win, since I don't think we have enough votes to elect more than one representative. It is up to everyone to decide who that one candidate is. I feel that I have the best chance to win, but given that there are already several other wormhole candidates, votes might be split enough that I won't get enough votes to get a seat.
Nowhere did I tell you there is no alternative to voting for me. I think it is critical to have a wormhole representative on the CSM. If this guy who named himself after a cellphone is the best chance, then vote for him. Vote Two step for CSM 7 CSM 6 Alternate Delegate @two_step_eve on Twitter My Blog |

While I can see your point I'd much rather vote for a candidate that shows he is superior in substance and ideas then claim the other guy is inferior voter base excludes him from running on a platform that is similar to your own.
I think I do that over in my thread. I'd love to hear about why I should vote for Blackberry Bold in his own thread.
Bei ArtJay wrote: Dammit forums swallowed my reply. At this rate I'm gonna sell my vote to D3 again for a plex and be done with it.
What I was trying to say is that I strongly believe you should not run on this basis. A lot of people who would vote for you because you seem like a stand up guy, whose opinions are not too crazy, has on obvious interest in safeguarding w-space game-play and have a good track record will be put off by this stance and vote for Trebor or someone else who speaks for all players and not a specific part of the player base.
Whilst I do not underestimate the importance of the last CSM in changing CCP's view of their player-base, please donGÇÖt lose sight of the fact that the majority people playing eve donGÇÖt give two ***** about politics (in particular many w-space pilots who are nullsec bittervets who moved to w-space for a politics free game in the first place).
Sorry if my reply seemed like an attack, IGÇÖm actually trying to help. I really think if you run on the basis that if people donGÇÖt vote for a single candidate it will massively lower the overall number of people who call themselves w-space dwellers voting in the first place. Plus, if you run soley on the basis of being GÇÿTHEGÇÖ w-space representative you will miss out on all the potential votes from other parts of the player base who are really enjoying things like corp bookmarks. But then what do I know IGÇÖm not a political adviser, just a voter.
/incoherent rant over
And for the record IGÇÖd only vote for blackberry if he signed a contract stating he would never fit a WCS to a ship again :p
I'm not running on just being the wormhole candidate, but I do hope to have the support of as many wormhole residents as possible. In addition to that, I think my record shows that I am in favor of improvements that cut across many different areas of EVE (pretty much everyone uses POSes or Corp Bookmarks, for example). I love that the first post has completely changed. Now I am apparently some sort of pawn of Mittens, and he and I came up with this dastardly plan to mess up the campaign of the fine Blackberry Bold, who just wants to bring direct democracy to the people.
